Theater of Nations is a very well-known theater festival with an international dimension. For the first time he was fifty two years before - has been the case in Paris. The initiator of this project was founded three years after the Second World War the International Theater Institute. It was an excellent opportunity for doing so to enable them to meet the culture of State shared the so-called Iron Curtain. While initially the festival enjoyed very high prestige, it is at the end of the sixties of last century prestige diminished, as was the impact of several factors. This has resulted in a revocation of a grant to host the event. Be reactivated only in the mid-seventies - and it is in an entirely different formula, namely trout. It was decided that each year the Theater of Nations took place elsewhere. The first new edition of his was carried out in Warsaw.
